The 2024 Escalade SUV has every high-tech item as well as the most luxurious amenities. Cadillac was able to include several of such amenities due to the Escalade’s large size. The cabin is lined with fine leather, authentic wood, and gleaming metal trimmings. The dashboard is dominated by a massive, curving digital display that serves up both entertainment and driver-gauge displays in an unusual manner. The Escalade’s appearance is inspired by the stunning Escala concept vehicle, which has been scaled up to size XXL and fitted to the Escalade’s boxy form. The conventional 6.2-liter V-8 engine is standard on most Escalades, but Cadillac also provides a more fuel-efficient 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-six as an option. The Escalade’s ride and handling are luxury-car suitable regardless of engine—but don’t anticipate the fun found in the brand’s sedans.
